BUCKING PROBLEM YESTERDAY..
was crusing down a highway...went from 5 to 3rd at 70mph...tach was at 3800..punched it...and the car started to buck like the rev limiter was hitting...it happened twice...shifted up to 4th...and it was fine...i did not hit the rev limiter..but the engine did the same as if i did.
anyone have this issue? i tried to do it again today...but it didn't do it...
i know what the dealer will say..."can't reproduce"
i have no upgrades...car is stock...06 5speed gt...
thanks all...

Can't we make this a sticky ???
There's about 9 threads about going on right now lol. It's not your engine, It's your fuel pump creating air bubbles in your line. It's a major problem and it seems everyone is having this same issue. I just had mine fixed last week, and it's definately worth it, plus the piece of mind knowing your car will work properly. This is dangerous issue IMO, and If it happens at the wrong time you could be hurt.
Just print out this TSB TSB 06-9-9 and take it to your dealer.
They don't need to reproduce anything, they just pull a code from your car that tells them if the pump is working properly or not. Since it's already done the "bucking" it will throw a code at them. Just make sure they order the O-ring for the new fuel pump, apparently it doesnt come with the replacement pump itself.
