Default shifter?

i know this post has been beatin up alot but i dont like the look of the hurst or most of the shorts that the people have been buying is there anyway to make it look like the factory.
or maybe like the older GT's like 02 or so or the 03 cobras i love the looks of those. And my buddy has a 01 gt and his throw is crazy short he bought it like that.
What is the shortest throw of all of the shifters for an 06. Im not a fan of the ball on top of the shifter so if theres any way around that please let me know thanks in advance.

Well if you buy a shifter it will still look totaly stock from in the cab of the car. Our boots and shift **** are all one piece units, so unless you change them out it will still appear stock. I personally went with the Steeda Tri-Ax on my 06 gt and love it.

Gbart, a lot of folks in here would tell you that if you are just looking to shorten the throw of the shifter and maintain the stock look, just go with the saleen short throw adapter and maybe upgrade the bushings. You will be maintaining the stock shifter but shortening the throw by 26% according to Saleen.

Here's a link.
