Trunk Lid Lettering
I'm still in pursuit of raised letters for my Trunk Lid. I'm looking for anything... As long as it doesn't rust, is atleast 1/8" thick, and has a metallic satin/polished finish. 2-3 inches in height. I don't want the letters to be flat on the sides, but rounded just a little so they don't look awkward. In true Mustang fashion they will be stretched over the area of the trunk lid (Combined with a CDC Ducktail should give me room for a sizeable letter.) The only problem is I cannot find anything online, and I don't even know where to look offline. $5-10 a letter would be worth it, anything more is kinda pushing it. (Not asking for much, so a company wanting $25 for less than an ounce of aluminum is pushing it.) I'll be ok with Plastic too. Does anyone know of any sites/and or know where I should search offline?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Scott Drake manufactures original restoration lettering for the Mustang. They have a set of trunk letters that are just what you are looking for. They are not that expensive ($10-15). Be careul when ordering, there are two different versions. The original letters have pins and need holes drilled in the trunk. The other type uses 3M tape.
I like the look of the Mustang lettering on the trunk. They also make the FORD letters for the hood. The only reason I have not installed these is that it makes it very difficult to clean in between the letters and wax tends to accumulate between them.
You can find the Scott Drake Mustang trunk letters from several vendors including Mustang Tuning and even on Ebay.

Let me clear this up... sorry for the misunderstanding. I want trunk letters, but not ones saying "Mustang" I'm looking for letters to fit my specific needs, but also to say something else. Hope that helps.
