Default Trunk Release

Hi there,
Sorry if this has been answered before.
I have a friend that just bought an 06 GT convert. We both spent about an hour trying to find a trunk release inside the vehicle. I know you can use the fob, but is there one somewhere we are not looking?
Thanks

Careful in the vert if you lock your keys in the trunk there is no 60/40 split seat to save you

LMAO...Sorry Man, not laughing at you guys, just with you. I know no one reads the stupid Manual, but an hour looking for a button??? Would've taken you like 30 seconds to break out the book...No offense intended, I just found it funny!!! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

exactly'also, this subject makes people touchy; the fob is as good as any button; i have a vert and i would not want a button for security; also if it was in the glove box it would need locked for security and a pain in the a** to get to; so the fob is OK; nothing to get **** with lol.

Everyone makes a big deal about this shortcoming. But as has been mentioned, if you want a remote trunk release, buy an extra keyfob and velcro it into the glove box.

Having it on the keyfob is far more convenient, it is just something that you need to get used to.
