I use an old hand towel soaked in vinegar and water (about a cup of vinegar in about ½ gallon of water) with the towel good and wet (not dripping wet but close) wipe down the window real good rinse the towel in the water solution again go over it again. Then wipe it dry with a micro fiber towel. Zero streaks! This works better then any glass cleaner I have ever tried. The trick is to get the window good and wet.

I ran my fingernail over the scratch, and it definately is deep enough to be considering a light scratch. Not sure that can be "buffed" out or whatever was mentioned. I could be wrong though.
The scratching is a very widely reported problem with Mustangs. It is very common for people to get bad scratches in window tinting and somewhat less common (but still reported enough to be a problem) for people to get scratches in the glass itself. I'd take it in to the dealer and get it replaced! Here's a thread on what to do to prevent the scratching:

I'll have to try some of these ideas. I can not get my windows clean!! It's been driving me nuts....I don't know if it's because their so hard to get to and I end up sweating my a$$ off or just doing it wrong?

This is key. Streaks are a mix of dirt and evaporating cleaner liquids that were not wet enough to be lifted from the glass and soak into the wiping material. Obviously we don't want to drip stuff all over our dashes, but the wetter you can get it, the easier the dirt lifts off the glass and into the wiping cloth. IMHO. [sm=shades.gif]

Menace,

I had a similar scratch in my glass, right down the middle of my drivers side window. The dealer replaced it for free but it was within a week of when I bought the car. Not sure if it would be covered but it wouldn't hurt to try.
