Default removing spoiler...

hi there, everyone...

well, i'm the proud owner of a 2006 pony package mustang, and i totally love it... it's black with black interior and the grey wheels... very dreamy...

i liked everytihng about it when i saw it, except for the spoiler... i saw some other mustangs at the dealers that didn't have the spoiler and they looked more 'right' to my eyes...

i was wondering if there's anyway to do a spoiler-delete on a mustang that already has one...

thanks in advance for your help...

a Mustang wuthout a spoiler is like a flat chested chick, she may be attractive but there's something missing...

The spoiler pops right off with the removal of the four nuts inside the trunk, and some real sticky crap under the pedestals.....But, you will have 4 bolt holes to deal with....Just swapped mine out yesterday.

I gotta say, it doesn't come loose from the sticky crap easy! I thought I was gunna dent the trunk before I could get mine free from the two sided tape.

Yep, it is some sticky crap.....Take some fishing line, or some dental floss, and run it between the pedestal and trunk lid first....kinda helps break it loose....

That tape is insane, I think you can hold on the front bumper with just that stuff. I took some fishing string and just sawwed through it. Then took some wide thin bolts sprayed them black and put them on.

I took mine off about 2 weeks ago, and everyone who has seen it before and after thinks it looks much better without.

Any hardware store will have some high profile bolts, but unless it's temporary I would look for some plastic plugs for fear of rusting. I plan on filling them when I get my new hood. These work well for me though, I had to try to get a picture that would show them, they blend in real well.
