Engine Codes HELP plz!!
Hi, Im new to this forum posting since I visit daily the forum. Other than that well Im thinking on purchasing a 05 GT car has almost 10k miles and well, the car has the engine lights on.
Is there a way to retrieve the codes without a tuner. I ask since my bro has a supra and he can retrieve the codes doing some procedure with cables and the light will blink and you can take the code problem of it. Do the GT can be done the same thing.
Reason of buying the car use is that GT is leather and al is 22k and new is like 37k and my budget actually cant fit that.
I will gladly appreciate your help
Thanks
Jose

RE: Engine Codes HELP plz!!
I tried to get Auttozone, Advance Auto, and my next door neighbor's box to read my codes and they all would not work.
Only OBD III boxes will read 2005+ Mustangs. My parts store had some sort of Actron orange thing that was useless (said "link fail").
