ORIGINAL: saud alzaabi

I ordered the new hurst aluminum shifter, it has bolt stops too, i was going to get the pro 5.0 but then i looked at the hurst and like the look more.. so i got the new one...

i have been waiting for it for a month now.. i called jegs and they said it should be arriving in the 1st week of september.
saud alzaabi -

I have been following another thread closely as it relates to the new Hurst aluminum shifter. Jegs promised one of the guys 1 of 19 new shifters they were expecting on Aug. 25th. After waiting a fair amount of time, he has now been told it will be Oct. 25th. I am not sure anyone really knows as Hurst is having some issues getting it to market.

+1 on the Pro5.0. I've only been to the track once, but 13 passes between three drivers, powershifting 2nd and 3rd (shifts between 5800 and 6100). Not a single problem the whole day. The bumpstops are a must, for performance and peace of mind.

Easy install. No need to drop the driveshaft. Get the car in the air, grab a couple of wrenches and two people can do it in less than an hour. It might take one person a little longer, but definitely possible.
