Default Emblem Help!

I'm thinking of getting some custom emblems made but i'm at a loss as to what color background to use. Here's a few of them that i've decided on, but if there's one that fits the emblem better, let me know! btw, thanks!

This one uses the flag colors.

Black to match the contrast of red and black on the car.

Redfire to match the car color.

Here's the car it'll be going on.

I like the black as well. Remember, your emblem will have to color the two holes in your fender that the GT badge fits in.
I had my custom emblems made by autobadges.com, but they do not do color.

I hope it'll cover the holes, the base is about 4 inches long and 3/4 inches high, not sure how big the two holes are and how far apart (images are actual sizes, on my screen anyway ), may have to adjust the base. Autobadges doesn't do color? how's their emblem quality? I can paint them black, i believe...

I could if you'd like, just send some images and let me know what/how you want it to look.

Autobadges did a good job with me and wer always quick to return emails. The quality was great. Of course it did take a few $$ to set things up, but was reasonable. The stock GT emblem has two holes, about 1/4" in diameter, not quite vertical. Here is a picture of the backside of the GT emblem, showing the prongs.

thanks dave! that helped out alot. I'm talking to Eric right now about the emblem and he told me about the holes. I'm having to redraft the emblem because of it now since i didn't realize how big/far apart they were. Will probably replace the rectangular base with a diamond base. Could you tell me the distance between the 2 holes? thanks.

Side note, we should meet up some time and swap stories, i'm located in charlotte also, if interested.

I can't find my GT emblems, so I'm not sure of the location of the holes. Look at the picture and put masking tape on the ones on your fender and mark the reverse of the locations on my picture above??

Now that I see your signature photo, I see Charlotte in the background. That is a nice Flash image as well.
I'll be at the big car show at Lowes on the 16th (sat). I'll have my car with the mustang club on pit road.
