Little help :)
I don't know why you would let your mom drive your stang.
I don't even let my wife drive it...well, except one time when I had too much to drink and I made her so nervous that she said she would NEVER drive it again hahahaha.
Anyways, with regards to dash rattles...yes I have some. Go to the dealership and tell them to look at the A-pillar...sometimes loose wires rattle. Also read somewhere about a bolt that needs to be tightened behind the passenger side airbag that causes a metalic rattle.
Just turn up the radio and get a louder exhaust and all the rattles go away

I also have a rattle in the drivers side corner, near where the window meets the dash. It only happens when I go over a road section that looks eaten away by water or something.. not pot holes, not speed bumps, nothing but rigid roads...then it vibrates really fast for a couple seconds and stops.. No idea what it is.. Ive had people suggest that it might be wires underneath the dash but I looked and didnt see anything near where I think the sound is coming from... really hope someone finds out what it is because here the roads blow, so it happens alot.
yeah same type of rattle... is it hard to take apart the dash on our cars? i would secure everything really well while i was in there if i could get in. Also i dont know why i let the girl have the keys, just kinda felt like an *** if i did anything but, but i learned a lesson im not lettin anyone drive it. My mom filled it up with gas and that was the point of her driving it that day and she has a 350z so she kinda knows how to drive like i do.
RATTLE FIX.. this NEEDS TO BE STICKIED AS I am very tired of typing it..
Remove A-pillar.. the rattle is at the A-pillar where it meats the dash btw..
put some grease.. ( slide pin grease from Honda is what I used ) on the clips that hold the
A-pillar piece to the car.. problem gone.. at least it is on mine...
P.S. if you use cheap grease the problem WILL come back in time... ( Honda grease will stand on its end .. as a example of how good it is ) plus it was free
as I use to be a Honda/Acura mechanic for over 20+ years...
