Default Cruise Controll Issue..

I got my car back after some warrenty work, they remved and replaced the brake booster in order to paint a small spot that had been messed up by brake fluid. Now my cruise controll doesnt work and my brake lights stay on unless I pull the brake pedal out. There is no way i am taking my car back to this dealer because I had and still have some MAJOR issues with them. I have looked under the hood and under the dash for any loose connections and also checked for a speed controll fuse which doesnt exist.

If anyone could be of any help I would greatlyt apreciate it.

Based on what you are saying you need to get that car back into the dealer ASAP. They have obviously installed something wrong and it needs to be corrected. This is a safetly issue.

sounds like a messed up brake light switch, which is located behind the brake pedal and that getting stuck would also cause cruise control not to work because ur car thinks the brake pedal is being pressed

Did they leave a vacuum hose off? Engine vacuum operations the "power brake." If that is open, then the vacuum could be lost on the cruise control as well. However, I would expect the engine to be running real rough and throwing all sorts of codes/check engine light etc.

If you have a rough running engine in combo with the rest of what you have said, see if they failed to connect the large vacuum line to the brake booster.
