See the sticky as 555 says. Short answer is it depends on your dealer, but except for an unmodified/authorized install of a Roush, any S/C or T/C kits are going to void it no matter what anyone says...
[sm=icon_rtfm.gif] There are mods which will void warranties. If you replace a stock air filter with a like air filter, you have no problems, but if you start to add turbos, superchargers, racing suspensions, different gears, basically major modifications, a dealer can tell you to pound sand. If a dealer feels your mod had any affect on a problem he doesn't have to honor the warranty. He cannot deny a warranty claim on a defective seat belt because you have a CAI. You can whine all you want, but in the end you'll lose. Wait till your warranty period is over and then mod it all you want, and then you can pay for the repairs too.
It really depends on your dealer. My dealer did majority of my mods including SC. he also sold me the extended warranty.
The dealer has several customers they have already done Procharger, Saleen, Vortech and KB kits on 05 and newer Mustangs. As long as I don't pulley up to12-15 PSI they are cool with the SC and warranty.
They do not get crazy about mods at my dealer. They saw the aluminum driveshaft and COPs I had installed and they said "cool we like that driveshaft!"
When my car was in the shop last week because it was running like crap, I did not know why it was running so bad. The dealer found two of my GMS COPS were bad and he immediatley ordered replacements directly from GMS, and he did not say I need to put on the stock coils.
I have since taken those piece-of-shiite COPs off myself because of the poor reliability.
So just find a mod-friendly dealer and you will be okay.
