Default seat belts

Is anyone else having aproblem with their seat belts cutting into their neck? Does anyone make an aftermarket loop that holds the belt away from the neck? Maybe one that mounts on the headrest posts?

get one of those fuzzy things that goes over the seat belt and rests where the belt meets your neck, in my 1965 stang coupe i have 4 point harnesses and the passenger (whoever it is) always ends up complaining about their neck, so i got fuzzy thingies for them (i had to use 2 cuz of the 2 that come over the shoulder but you would need only one) I find they work great

I hated that right from the beginning. I bought custom seat belt pads from seatbeltpads.com last July, a month after buying a 2005 Mustang.
There were like $32.00 (set of 2) plus $5.00 shipping. I bought 2 sets one for the front and one for the back. They are made of high-end cuddle satin, silver embroidered with pony logo and MUSTANG. I have used them for a year now and the seat belt never hurts.

But if you are looking for something besides the custom logo, try Kmart,Walmart, etc.

i was having the same problem and i jus went to advanced auto parts and got 2 cushions that have the "american product company" logo on them. i am not sure if i like them because i really don't want to look like a cheesy rice racer but they work. i think they were around 10 bucks for a set of 2 so it really wasn't that bad.

I saw a news story the other day about how Ford is having to use fat dummies when designing cars because there are so many chunky folks in the USA and they don't fit in normal cars very well!

I hope that's not the case and that you're a tall person! LOL

There is a strap on your seat. You put the seat belt through the strap and fasten the strap back to where it belongs. I'm not sure if this helps you just in reaching around and grabbing it, or if it'll help with your issue... but... I don't have it, so I don't know.
