Default Body kit???????

Guys, at a recent car show I saw an 05 GT with the 3D carbon body kit and " I want it!". Thing about it is that I think the car will sit to low especially since I dropped the car 1.5 inches. How much troube am I going to have when I get that flat tire, will the car be too low for the jack? Will I be able to clear the rails in the car wash.

I don't want to get into something that I may regret...........opinions

If you want it just get it, having a 1.5" drop isnt much. The stock front end is about 9 inches off the ground and the back is even more than that. The sides are roughly 6-7.. so even if the kit drops it 5 all the way around, add in your 1.5, thats still a few inches off. And as long as the kit doesnt come down to the bottom of the rim, then when you get a flat, the worst you would do is ride on the rim, not scrape the body kit, and Id be more worried about riding on rim than scraping the bottom of the plastic ya know? They make low profile jacks that are only about 2 inches high. If youre really THAT worried about, just put the stock springs back on it then put on the body kit and if theres room then put the lowered springs back on. As far as car washes... I wont even say anything about that.. if you own a Mustang you shouldnt be using car washes [&:]

BTW... Id be more worried about curbs and parking blocks with the kit than flat tires and car washes.. just a thought.

Since I got my CDC Agressive chin spoiler, I never pull in anywhere forward.. I back into parking spots now.. just something to think about before you buy something that lowers the trim on your car.. it makes it more difficult to park.

Hey, Lameo its just gonna be that much better when the "ricer" beats you...that was a different thread, dont have to drag it here.
I have the car outside right now, with stock rims it was 2" off the ground and he's right as much as i wah my car, it was worth buying my own car washer
