Default how is this possible?

i have a question about TSBs - the ones that relate to design, not parts failing or parts being manufactured incorrectly.

how is it possible that only SOME mustangs have the rear differential moan/groan while doing slow, tight turns after the rear of the car is heated up while others don't. i don't get it. all the faulty ones were made the exact same way, using the exact same parts, up until Ford found the problem and corrected it. for example my 06 gt had this issue, and it was built june 10th, 2006. i don't understand how cars built before that could NOT have the issue. i mean with other TSBs, it's understandable to not do a recall because a part may fail, etc., or may have been machined outside of tolerances, etc., but in this case it was a design flaw. so how can some gt cars before mine possibly not have this? the same parts were used on other gt's, same technique, same assembly. it just doesn't make sense. what i think the issue is is that it applies to ALL gt's and ford is only replacing it for those who notice it and complain. i mean, hell, had i not read this forum i may not have noticed the rear moan since my moan/groan wasn't that loud. it just seems to me that this should apply to ALL manual trans mustang gt's, since it's not the part that's faulty, or the install, but the design. hmm...

basically, i think tsbs apply to ALL cars but ford doesn't want to do a recall so they just fix the issue when people complain. i don't know, this just makes me wonder if i have a lot of other issues that i'm just not noticing. if there is an error in my logic, please point it out, but don't say "well some parts may be 1mm bigger/smaller or made faulty etc." or "every car was put together by different people" because it doesn't matter how perfect the parts were machined or how perfect they were installed since this is a design flaw.

opinions?
