A/C Knobs
I believe I have seen this posted before but I can't find anything on it tonight. Do you know if the A/C ***** come off easily on the 06 GT? I thought I saw where the 07 A/C ***** won't come off. Would like to get some better looking *****.
Thanks
Rusty

From my experience with my 2005 GT, the ***** are fairly hard to come off...
I used a very small screwdriver to pry each side of each **** until I could wiggle them and then gently (I mean gently) using your fingers to slowly wiggle them off without twisting them...
Any new ***** will just push on with a light touch and stay on until you decide to change them again...

Dave,
Thanks. I was messing with them a little yesterday and thought I was having to pull too hard to try and get them off. I know I saw a picture somewhere showing that the 07 ***** won't come off without tearing them up. Wasn't sure the 06 was the same way.
Thanks again for the input.

Mine just pulled right off. Hard to pull fairly hard, but nothing broke. I say just pull a bit harder - they'll pop off. I'm not crazy about a screwdriver near my dash - it scratches pretty easily.
I just replaced the ***** on my '06 with these:
Billet AC *****
The old ones pulled right off. All you have to do is put them in the 12 o'clock position and they pop off very easily.
