I'd just like to add that the stock H13 bulbs are made by Sylvania as well, and when I took the factory bulbs out, I placed them
in the packaging the SilverStars came in. Looks to be the same length in all dimensions.
Ford uses Sylvania standard and long life headlamps at the factory, and these are generally very poor lighting solutions. And of course, if your lamp meets H13 dimensions it should fit in any packaging designed for H13s.

Just put some H13ST in mine and the diff is great
autozone had like 10 of them using 4 of those store hooks everyone uses
and if you look at the bulb and the stock bulb they are both 60/55W bulbs so they are not over wattage

9007 Silverstars have a purplish tint, I never checked the H13s but they should be the same.

About a year ago, Sylvania's website and packaging listed 5W over the standard 9007 specs. If you ask Sylvania about bulb lifespans and what bulb to use for the brightest light that lasts a decent amount of time, they suggest the XtraVision bulbs. Dan Stern recommends the H13XV for the S197s. I've tried tinted bulbs in the past and they failed to impress me. Right now, I am using GE Nighthawk 9007s based on Dan Stern's recommendation and he hasn't steered me wrong.

Like many others ,I went to Autozone for the Bulbs. Out of stock, the ONLY ones(H13ST)that are NOT there. As I read in other posts , employees are in a COMPLETE daze. "The what? Huh?,Duh, I dunno...." Guess they're all hired from the same gene pool.

Thanks all for great comments. I am happy to notice that the Sylvania Silverstar are at least available.
I hope my friend in El Paso /TX can find them at Autozone.

Any of you guys that bought these have them burn out already? One of mine is alread gone (and no I didn't touch the glass). This seems to be a knock on these bulbs but the Ultras (which were designed to last longer) are not available for our cars yet.
