I never get tired of seeing that video! Their car is amazing. I got to see/hear it run at the track, and it was awesome.

I had a buddy that had a '69 Firebird with a 455 in it. Stock interior and AC. In Colorado his dial in time was 12.20! We would push it down to the line and people could not believe he had the stock interior still in the car, and always asked him about building motors for them.

Now he runs in the 10's after removing the interior, narrowing the rear end, and "swiss cheesing" the frame.

They have done more than that. They have also done blower porting mods they won't tell us about. Along with several other mods they conginously won't acknoledge. Almost like they are suffering from BBR syndrome. But don't confront them on this board about it because the only response you will get is from mods telling you that they have the right to BS people and lead them to believe they are doing it all with tuning and nothing else ( it's a "supporting" thing.. )

by Evolution Performance (taken from this thread):

Below is a video of our Shelby GT500 making 578 RWHP and 582 RWTQ on our Mustang 1100-SE Dynamometer with a 2.6" Pulley, Stiegemeier Stage 1 Port, JLT Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System, Custom Off-Road X-Pipe, Custom Borla Exhaust System, 4.10 Gears, and a Evolution Performance Custom Tune using SCT Advantage III Software!
Hey hawgman,

Seems like they are admitting to doing a few more mods than a simple tune. Have they listed everything they've done to the car? I doubt it. But you make it sound like they are in cahoots with MF in "The Great GT500 Conspiracy". If that's the case, then I wanna know when my free parts (i.e. hush money) will be coming! [&:]

What Evolution has done is very impressive, but I want to see what someone can do with a Shelby with bolt-ons. It seemed like that's where they were heading initially, but they got a little carried away! They even list headwork as one of the mod's on their video clips, so they're not pretending they haven't gone internal on it.

There was NO headwork done on the GT500! Where does it state that? The motor has not been opened up!
