Default K-member brace / torque limiters installed!

I put the CHE setup in today and

I noticed a difference immediately. Easier shifts, especially under WOT and a lot less drivetrain noise. The second gear "chirp" is now effortless. Great product!

Thanks 1quickshortbus!

Grats Music City, This is a great mod I love mine it makes the shifter feel great and IMO the car more torquey.

Legend gt: I noticed no extra vibrations at idle.

No extra vibrations at idle or otherwise. I am very pleased with this mod. Nothing but good to say on this one!

how tough was the install? can it be done with basic hand tools and car stands?

Stupid question: What is this, what does it do, and can I see some pics?

Thanks,

The install was a piece of cake. Basic hand tools, but I have a lift, so it was REAL easy.

What is it? It is a brace that bolts to the back of the K-member and then there are two braces that go from there to the bolts on the bellhousing, one on each side. It limits the torque twist on the driveline. The benefits are ease of shifting under WOT and it also seems to take away some driveline clanks. I also was impressed with the fact that it gives a better launch by eliminating some of the loss to the rear wheels by not allowing the drivetrain to twist. Second gear chirps effortlessly. I did not take pics when I had it on the lift, but someone else had posted some (Riven02 as I recall).
