My dad doesn't believe the amount of people that have cold air intakes that havent had any problems. If you have had a cold air intake on your 2005-2007 mustang without problems please take this poll.

 

I've had my 2006 GT for just over a year.
Installed a C&L CAI with a Predator tune about a month after I got it.
Zero problems.

 

Intake and Tune. No problems.

Unless improved performance is a problem. Then yeah. I got an *** ton of that.

Anyone who says that intakes are horrible ideas or that they have had problems with them is either because they dont know how to isntall them correctly, or theyre just ignorant to the advantages of a CAI. There are SO many people that have installed them and not had problems that it massively out weighs the select few who have problems because they did it wrong/bought a bad product.

Tell your dad to get the CAI, install it, enjoy the extra power, and chill out.

No problems here, except the fact the CAI blew up my car.

 

You dont have to be a jerk about it! I need evidence to persuade my dad, so he will let me buy a tuner/cai combo.

always go aftermarket much better airflow versus stock...increased mpg depending on how you drive the car and it'll last longer than replacing the stock air filter every 3000-5000 miles so in the long run saving money.

 

ok who voted for the - I think cold air intakes are a terrible idea!

 

I think that it is important. We convince parents, they buy it, economy gets stronger, more money for strippers, better quality strippers! It's a win win for all of us.
