Vista Blue!?!
Hi all,
Im looking into getting a new V6 with the pony package convertible in vista blue. But i also want to get racing stripes. I was wondering how the white racing stripes would look with the parchment roof on the V6 and if anyone had any pictures they could post of one. Would the parchment roof or black roof look better with the white stripes?
thanks

If you do get a Vista Blue Mustang remember to sign up for the Official Vista and Sonic Blue Registry at this site: http://www.vistasonicblueregistry.bravehost.com
I'm partial to the parchment interiors, I debated the Vista Blue and the Torch Red for a long time. There was no doubt that my interior and top would be parchment. I saw a lot of parchment topped convertible V6s with the pony package and they had the Parchment Gold side stripes. I don't think the black top looks good on the Vsita Blue and I don't like the white with either color top. Now the white on blue coupe looks great. I've just sent for some sample vinyl stripe colors (3 for $3.00) from Graphic Express and the three colors I'm debating are Sandstone, Beige, and Gold for my just ordered Torch Red GT vert.

I liked the Vista Blue better than Torch Red but I do like both of them. I traded the Vista Blue for a kitchen pass to upgrade my GT to a convertible with a few GT500 features after arrival. At first my Wifey Poo liked the Redfire but this color paired with the parchment interior was way too much like FSU colors and no Gator would ever be caught in FSU colors. So she opted for the Torch Red (or as she refers to it "Write me a ticket red") with the parchment. She thinks it's more of a retro look, we're old farts, my first pony car was a '65 Mustang coupe with the 289HP and her first car was a 4 year old '66 tri-power GTO. This suits me as Red and Gold are Marine Corps colors so I'm ahead of the game. Semper Fi.
Just another rowdy reptile

My Dad had a red 67 stang but sold it when i was little. So i was originally looking for one that replicated his in a way with the red and parchment.
This car is actually a gift to me when i sign with a college. My top choice is the merchant marine academy at kings point, so the blue and parchment would suit me well haha.

Here's a pic of a vista blue with a cloth black vert roof. The cloth was a $230 option over the vinyl, but I really like the rich black color because it gives better contrast with the vista blue. I'll bet the parchment looks nice too and I'd love to see a pic of one.
