Default Body Kits

Hi,

I posted this in another forum before I noticed this forum was specific for newer models, so thought I would post here also.

I am asking these questions regarding my sons car. I would like some opinions before we do something to mess up the car. He has a new White GT 2006. He wants to add some body parts. He built it at the pony builder website so they are not all the same brand. The parts are as follows:

Street Scene Side Skirts
Xenon Rear Fascia
3D Carbon Pony Vents (side scoops)
Black panel between taillights
Satin Mesh Upper and Lower Grills

We plan to have these things painted and put on by a body shop. My questions are; does anyone know anything about the quality of these products ? Do you have any recommendations of the best place to buy them? Is these something better he should be considering?

This is all new to us since he never had car interest until this car. Actually this Mustang is addicting, I love these cars.

I appreciate all the advice you can give, Lynn

I am getting the Street Scene 4 piece body kit for my wife's car. I have the Street Scene rear valance lip on my car and I love it. The fit was great and so are the looks. Welcome to this forum. We all love these cars and yes they are adicting. It brings out the interest in people, especially the ones that didn't think they had it in them. I hope you have as fun as we all have with ours. Post some pictures once you get everything installed.

The Street Scene products are very good. I have their ducktail wing and their front valance on my car. As for the mesh grilles, if you are talking about the Street Scene ones also, they are super easy to get on. Took me about 10 minutes to get mine on my front bumper. The Xenon products I haven't heard too much good about. I had a buddy who had a Xenon kit and I know that he had a lot of problems with it. Trying to get it to match up correctly and such. I don't know if they have changed in the last few years, but thats my only experience with them.

Hope this helps you!

Thanks so much for all the help. I took the time to look through some of the picture threads and there are some really nice Mustangs on here. You all have really made cars to envy.
Thanks, Lynn

Take a look @ the threead on this forum called Definitive Ductail/Spoiler Thread. It has alot of really good info, and feedback/discussion on the parts.

You'll discover what products have been successful, and what has aggrevated folks.

BTW- I think it's great that you can take an interest in this together!
