Good shop for S/C in SE michigan (Detroit)
Hello all,
New to the forum here. I just bought a 2005 Roush Stage 1 with only 4900 miles on it for a great deal. I had forgotten how much fun it is to just drive a car ... I mean really drive .... feel the road in the wheel, the engine/transmission vibration in the stick, the slight slide on the rear end as you power out of a turn ....... OH YEAH!!!!
So, as you might have guessed ..... I'm hooked now. So, I need to get some extra ponies for my pony so the performance can match the looks.
I live in the NW Detroit suburbs and would appreciate a recommendation or two on where to get a supercharger installed. I'm concidering the Roush (keep with the brand), a Saleen (hear good things about the twin screws), and the new Whipple. This is a daily driver for me, so it has to run reliably. All you guys (and girls) running 550 RWHP on the stock motor are running on borrowed time in my book (we just dont overengineer the motors that much!!!). I just need a few more horses (say 400).
I enjoy reading the forums, so keep up the great conversations!! A help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx, ErnieP

I would recommend Alternative Auto. I have no personal experience, however, 2 of my friends have had their Mustangs upgraded there and they have just ranted about how great their experience was and how knowlegable Lidio is. He really knows Mustangs according to them. Hope this helps.
