Default Mach II Hood pic

First I want to say that I don't recommend anyone buying this hood unless they want to fork out extra money for a lot of prep. I bought the hood from dallasmustang.com. The hood does not fit well at ALL. My paint guy is prepping/painting it for $350 total and that is a steal. He said the prep work alone is easily a $300 job.

The vents in front are being cut out and the vent in the back work just like a cowl hood. when the car is running you can actually feel the air coming out.

Oh also, this hood is either love it or hate it. About half the people on other forums say they like it and half say they don't. /shrug
I like it and thats what counts. It is also not prepped/painted yet in these pics...the hood is just simply sitting on the car.

hmm neat idea but a little too much for me. I would like to have either just the cowl or the hood induction like that. Thanks for the info on prep work though o_O

Looks pretty good.. especially on your car with the grill you have. Sorta makes the car look like a face.. a mean face haha Id like to see it once it gets finished with the cutouts in the front. I might not like it then though.. I dont like hoods that make your car look like pigs because of the vents.. (the Shelby one)

I like the idea... but not that end result.

The raised section is too narrow - - the sides of the rise need to align with the posts by the grill. it raises a little too much for me.

I don't mind the design but yes dallas mustang makes some darn crappy hoods. Most buyers don't understand the concept of cheap hoods and then wonder why theirs so much prep work.

Those looked a little better on say a 94 Mustang. If you like it that is what really matters most. But personally after seeing it on one of ours I'm not a fan of it. 2 wide raised parts instead of the cowl with a secondary raised part might've been better. Just looks a little awkward I guess. Maybe it's just if the "intake" part looked black, or had a screen in there. Maybe that'd fix the look for me.

But again though it's not my bag baby (honestly... it's not mine!) if you like how it looks then that's the only opinion that counts.

What exactly is the point having all that cooling effect on the v6 economy version of our car :P?

Can you even see the road anymore? Alittle much, but it looks good, and you're getting what you want, which is what matters!

Well he does have performance mods.. and cooling will help any engine run better and more efficient, no matter the horsepower or size.
