RE: GT COP
Umm.. you know they have a radio and can call for a Crown Vic with a bit more space to transport a prisoner right? The Calfornia Highway Patrol does not have any Mustangs in service that I know of, so out here on the West Coast we're not being pulled over by unmarked Mustangs. The CHP still has some active B4C Camaros, but they are used mainly for commercial truck (big rig) enforcement.
I'm an applicant to the CHP and am going on a ride along tomorrow for 8 hours in the Sacramento Valley. I can't wait to see what traffic enforcement is like from the passenger seat. I don't think I'll be driving my 06 Mustang GT to the CHP station with the FRPP Stingers though.

I was in Charlotte earlier today. Saw a shiny Black unmarked GT. Blue lights were flashing in the grill and rear window, and had pulled over a tree trimming truck.

RE: GT COP
I see them all the time here in Harford County Maryland. They have a blue 05/06 GT along with a white one and black one. The tint is real dark so it easy for me to spot them. For some reason all I see have no wings, another way to spot them easy. The blue one was beside me a few weeks ago on the highway and gave me the thumbs up. I see them every week. They also have Expeditions, Navigators and an older white Camaro here. They are always just past the tunnel going North on 95.
They still arent cool as me though!! Plus they are all autos...
oakman-----They dont put a perp in the back seat. It is only for pursuing/chasing or issuing. If the need calls for it they radio for a regular car to come pick up the bad guy and then they pull off.
