do stock mustangs have a pre-tint/glass tint? if they do wut tint should i get so that it keeps with the 35% rule of maryland. And where do i pick up some felt or somthing so the windows dont scratch up the tint, cuz i heard that that happens to new mustangs when tinted

 

Look above, about six post from the top down on this page, you will see a TECH section on the window tint/scratch issue...

 

My car was made in March of 2005 and the factory tint is already seperating! That's when you see these little blocks of tint in the glass. Go with legal tint, usually 35% in most states. See if they can do the fixes suggested in the other thread.

 

Just a quick comment... I thought the police could only check the windows that rolled down. Dont they have some little device that they use to test them? I always put limo tint on all the windows that were permanent and stricktly legal tint on the ones that rolled down. I never got in trouble for it.... but I could have just been lucky.

 

dont know if you can see it so well but i have a hair darker than legal on the drive windows and 20% on the rears..
