Default Am I missing something?

OK..dumb question maybe, but have to ask. Is there any other way in opening the trunk in the '07 from inside the cabin, other than pressing the trunk open button on the key fob?

Thanks

I saw a howto somewhere on adding a momentary contact switch in the glovebox to make your own. You just have to ground out oen of the wires. Would cost about 50 cents at radio shack. You'll notice your gas cap doesn't lock either, and there is no valet key for trunk or glovebox. At least the glovebox in a vert locks.

Ford's tapin all them nickels together, hoping it'll save them from being swallowed up by GM

If its important to you, you can allways put the rear seats down and pull the yellow release handle.

yeah, they're really scrimpin' to save! At least the older Foxes had both a gas door release and a trunk button in the glove box!

I guess that's how Ford looks at it!
They say " if you want stuff like trunk releases, locking gas cap covers, telescopic steering columns, etc. buy a Japanese car! All we do is MUSCLE CAR!"

I took the extra (2nd remote) and doublesided velcro tape, and put that in the console box, that way, if I need that fob, I pull it off, and stick it on the keychain. I like it in the console for easier access from the drivers' seat.[sm=goodidea.gif]
