but do i have to rent a huge *** truck? and second i made this really quick to explain how i would put them in. Ok sorry for the crappy *** drawing but i am in a hurry. But basically put one bumper through the trunk and then put one diagonally over the middle onto the passanger seat. In my head it works, and when i look at the car it totally works. but i want to know how people got their rear bumpers in. but here is the crappy pic.

Both rear seats fold down. I've never tried this but think you have a couple options:

1)Both bumpers fit through trunk to rear seat area

or

2)rear bumper fits through trunk to passenger rear seat.
Lay front bumper from driver rear seat over front pass seat, even out passenger window if necessary. The front pass seat can lay back or pull way fwd and fold against dash. You can flip the front bumper so the front of it sits on the window sill and the end points up, like a U.

If you have trouble fitting the front bumper, close the pass door with window down and open driver door to manipulate bumper till it fits. Rotate it every way.

Bring towels, tape and clothes line to protect all parts from contact.

wow nice drawing! Looks like a headless stick figure getting ready to do a dance move!

Ok just another reason roof racks should be an option!

No here! I got it!

Take you bumpers off before you leave... bring all the tools you used to remove the umpers and the clips and screws and reinstall your new ones for the trip home.
Simple right?

None of my business but, theres no way in hell i would haul bumpers inside of my Mustang. Thats just asking to scratch something up in a serious way. Would it really be wort damaging the inside of your car?

I work at a hardware store and am constantly amazed at what you can fit inside of cars. I once helped put a water heater inside a Ford taurus. I think you could fit one inside if the passenger seat is folded down. The only problem is trying to angle it into the car with the passenger door there. I guess you could always take out the four bolts that hold the seat in and just remove the passenger seat completely. That would require some time though. Putting a bumper into the trunk would work, but because of the angle, it probably wouldn't fit all the way in. You should probably bring some towels and put them over the bumper and then tie the trunk down. I wouldn't recommend doing this, as you could easily scratch something and cause more damage than the cost of shipping. If it is the only option, I think you could get it to work. Make sure to measure the bumpers on your car now to get an idea of what your dealing with.

There are several options out there:

1. Take off the front and rear bumpers of your car and test fit them inside the car.
2. Install a trailer hitch and rent a trailer.
3. Get a nice thick blanket and tie them to the roof.
4. Tie them to the spoiler if you have one. Mind as well put that thing to some good use.

Hope you get your bumpers and good luck.
