Default Bluetooth

With all the negative publicity surrounding cell phones and cars, I was wondering if anyone has bluetooth reception thru their shaker radio. Before I shell out the bucks, I'd like to know just how well it works.

I have the shaker 500 in my '07 GT. It does not have bluetooth capabilities. You'll have to go aftermarket for that.

From what I have seen the system works pretty good, it has a good BT antenna, supports most HS/HF functions, The real factory is the quality and version of the BT in your phone, for example if you have a Samsung A900 or A900M from Sprint, dont even think about it.

Speaking of BlueTooth. I think the people who walk around with those things hanging off of their ears are gay. If you're using the phone that's fine, but people wearing them like jewlery or some type of status symbol, even when their not using them just look stupid to me.

True, thats why I put mine in my pocket when I'm not using it. Unless i'm on a roadtrip, then I leave it on so I can hear it ring over the music.

I leave my bluetooth headset in the cup holder. I don't dare wear it in public. As great a device as it is, it still looks ridiculously gay.
