Default Hit today

Yeah my pony got hit in the back end today. Was coming up on a red light and a girl in oncoming traffic was in the passing lane waiting to make a left turn across the highway and i was in the passing lane getting ready to make a left at the light and out of no where an out of control beer delivery truck slammed into the back of the girl and sent her spinning and just caught the back end of my rear drivers side. Enough to cause damage to the rim and fenderwell area but not enough that i had to have it towed or anything. I was so mad i got out and said WHAT THE f ARE YOU DOING? His reply i didn't see she was turning. Pretty funny cuz he was a good 100-200 feet away when she was completely stoped in the middle of the road. I watched the whole thing, wish i was going straight and not turning i probably would have missed getting hit. Oh well here are a few pics. My deductible is $1,000 since i don't drive the car except on nice days which is was today but i will get that back reguardless since it was not my fault. Anyways would it be in my best interest to try and find another 18" polished aluminum rim(OEM) for cheaper or to just let it go and have them replace it.

Sorry to hear that man. Do you think the truck driver was "cleaning out the extra stock"?

Sorry bro, it sucks b/c it wasnt even your fault. Hey look at it this way, at least you are okay. I know your ticked, cuz I got hit like last month and after it all all I can think was this guy was an idiot. But in the grand scheme of things... it could be worse. I know it still sucks though.

Ouch, she's going to be in the operating room for quite some time... Shame. Whole quarter panel has to come off. They're going to have to cut into her... Then some welding and paint, but yeah... Anyway, see if you can somehow get 4 brand new, DD bullits out of the deal.

Yeah i want a whole new quarter panel i don't want anything pounded out at all. I feel like just telling them i want a brand new car since it barely has 400 miles on it. But i know that won't happen but i hate knowing that it was hit and its not like it was when i got the car.
