How long wait???
For those of us, who didn't scratch the instant gratification and take home new Mustang from the dealer. How long did you wait for your custom ordered car. I ordered mine 10/09/06 and dealer told me 6-8 weeks.

they ALWAYS tell you 6 to 8 weeks...because that's all they know...
they know nothing about the actual build...
it also depends on your priority...
I ordered mine Jan 18, 2005
I took delivery Aug 3, 2005....that's right 6.5 months...
but given they were so new and I got mine for X-plan, I wasn't exactly a high prority...
now, assuming the dealer puts the order thru right away, and they're not already of allocated units for the month, then 8 weeks is probably what to expect...
they know nothing about the actual build...

yeah Order was made the same day, allthough they said that Factory pulls the orders always on wednesday and I ordered mine on monday. I'm also X-plan. Who know about the priority. I'm just itching to get it. I have been waiting this for over 2 years. I had in the past 1989 LX 5.0 and 1993 LX 5.0, I love them.

3 Sept arriveal at port in CA
Just waiting on the boat to bring it over here to Korea. Still no scheduled shipping date. I can just imagine the guys at the port driveing it around the lot [:@]. Very fustrating to know that the car is just waiting at the port.

ordered in august and still no word
the dealer said if i get a manual with 18 inch rims then it could be longer because of inventory shortages of the rims and trannies i think it is bs oh well still waiting

it's really not BS about the tranny and wheels. When I ordered my '06 my dealer said 18" wheels will extend the delivery time. After the wave of 1st orders for '07s past, the wait time begins. You might have another month or more to wait.
