How much horse power can I expect with this mod?

This mod does not increase performance by itself. It needs to be done along with another mod to get its full benifit:

The shorty antenna reduces aerodynamic drag and the visor sticker delete reduces glare that allows the cars top speed to be increased by at least 3 mph on the Mulsanne straight at Le Manns.

Seriously, I'm glad if my post helped others get those tacky stickers off there cars!

I'm guessing if you didn't notice the stickers on the visor, you are probably average height. I'm 6'4" and those stickers are right in my view, I hate them. I tried the suggested method here to remove the stickers and it didn't work so well for me, at least not good enough for a show car. You could still see the glue even after washing it with Woolite and with goo gone. I just got back from picking up my visors from a uphosltery place today. They re-covered them in the factory cloth for $31 ea. I wanted to get them covered in black leather but they said the material would be too thick. 2 other places told me the visors couldn't be re-covered at all, the place that did it said it was easy. -Joe

Hi Joe,

I'm sorry you didn't get the results you were after. I used Oops not Goo Gone and got the results pictured at the beginning of this post. In the bright light of the picture you can still see were the sticker was. I have to say I don't notice it in the car. But for a show car the ultimate answer is to recover the visor as you have done. Awsome car by the way!

I removed mine with nothing more than a hot hair dryer. The key was being very, very patient, not moving too fast so that you really get the adhesive underneath to soften. Also, immediately after removal, get a top quality fabric cleaner, (Resolve worked well for me) and use as directed. I had no residual adhesive left and after about two weeks, you can't even tell there were sitckers there in the first place.

I used a hair dryer and peeled it. I then used multi-purpose solvent from auto magic to remove any residue. I tried acetone, but it just didn't work.

Maybe I should invest some money in factory parts that everyone is replacing?!
Have you heard of repro parts?
How do you think we restore cars with, nowadays? Duhh

Besides, I like to see what's left of that sticker in 30 years from now...

I used a hairdryer and Goof Off on my visors today and it worked perfectly. I only have 2500 miles on my 2008 GT and after the visors dried there is not a trace of the stickers or the glue residue. Mine look like it never had the stickers at all. Patience is definitely the key! Thanks for all of the advice guys.
Also; I just ordered a new auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink, compass and temperature display. I will post pics after I recieve my order and get it installed. This should really clean up the visors by getting rid of the garage door opener as well.
