Default Clay really makes the Stang shine

I guess I'm the last guy in the world to hear of the clay kits out there to really deep clean the Mustang. I had never heard of such a thing till I read about it in here. I bought the Meguires clay polish kit mainly because it was all they had at Pep Boy's that day. All this time, I really thought my car was as shiney as you can get using wax's "what else?"

Any way, the pictures arent the best, but if you have a black car, you need to try this.

Warlok.

Man that looks great! How many miles did you have on her when you decided to do this? Bought mine about 6 weeks ago and already have 3000 miles on it and was wondering when to put a wax job on it?

Thanks, again it looks fantastic!

You're not the last guy to hear of it. Tell me more. Your car looks like black glass. Sweet!

Now, after seeing those pics I know I need to try it; I think
I will get some this weekend and clean up the stang, if the
weather is alright here in TX this weekend. Btw, car looks

What about the striping?? I am going to get stripes soon and was wondering about whether to wax the stripes or not.

I used to use the Meguiar's Clay Bar until I came across Clay Magic. My personal experience is that Clay Magic does not tend to leave any "scuff" (so to speak) marks from the clay like Meguiar's can sometimes do. EITHER one is an AWESOME product!!! I get Clay Magic at AutoZone for $9.99. It is a blue colored bar.

Don't forget to polish then wax after clay barring!!! At a minimum you must wax it after claying the car.

I almost bought a clay kit a while back. But then I remembered how short a time a good clean shine on my car lasts. Even after a top notch wax job my car is dulled out and dirty in less than 2 days.......regardless of the nice weather. I've gotten to the point, for now, where I won't spend more than 2 hours to shine this baby up. Anything more is just me spinning my wheels. I will look into it though if I ever decide to bring my car to a meet or show, as I have seen first hand how nice these cars look with a good wash/clay bar/wax job on them. In the meantime, I'm saving up for an aftermarket reclear job.
