Default Ford's Rubber Floor Mats

I know I live here in mild weather SF Bay Area. But, I hate getting my car dirty, inside or out.

Just wanted to say that I took delivery on Ford's rubber mats yesterday. Fit very well. Designed to hold water, snow, mud whatever, instead of letting it "wash" over the side of the mat into to carpet. Deep channels between ridges. They look very good in the car.

[:@] Bad side is that these mat makers cannot understand that it would be good to cover the damn "dead petal"!

I'll probably want to change them out for carpet type mats again in the Spring, cause as you know, in the Summer California is a DRY state. Anyone have a recomend on a nice mat? But, after the Ford rubber ones, I may just see if they have a nice upgrade over the ones that came with my Screaming Yellow GT.

Not sure what the "Dead Petal" is but I just installed my All Weather mats this morning and I really like them as well. I bought them from http://partscheap.com/mustangaccessories05.htm and even called them to check on the order and they were as nice as could be. Shipped quick as well.

Your price was MUCH better than mine. $99 via the dealer. [:@] I made note of your web site listing.

"Dead Pedal" = That little flat space just to the left of the clutch pedal, where you probably end up leaving your foot when it not on the clutch. Helps with driver stability when he's wheeling and dealing.

I also got the same ones from partscheap.com. Nice mats, very durable and easy to clean.

I'm keeping mine in all year 'round.

Do the ones from the dealer extend way up past the pedals towards the firewall? I don't like it when the rubber just stops under the pedal area.
I can't tell from the ones on partscheap.com how long those are either. Do they extend up past the pedals towards the firewall?

Thanks!

Mine are the exact same size as the carpeted floor mats.

Nope. I just got mine from partscheap.com as well (along with a chrome exhaust tip), and I really like the looks of them, except the fronts aren't long enough, IMO. The backs look just like a 'T', going way up underneath the front seats, but the fronts are too short...

Any input on the dealer mats? Are they longer?

They're not too short for me. Perfect fit, IMO.
