Default Need help with strange problem

i was at the track yesterday and it just started all of a sudden; when i would get to the 1000 foot mark my car would start spittin and sputtering. I tried it again and again, my car is perfectly fine- accelerates/drives normal until around 90-100 mph then starts sputtering. my a/f gauge pegs at lean and exhaust pops, no check engine light on and predator pulls up no codes?? Feels like predetonation to me but i cant be sure, i returned the computer to stock settings and it still does it.....People were making jokes just not to do over 90 but this still bugs me bad. any insight or ideas that could help me would be greatly appreciated.

could be fuel filter or fuel rail. Also type of gas. Some times a bad batch will do that. Also water in your gas. so hope that might help

Yep, sounds like a fuel related problem...

I drove around, and went through that tank of gas, filled back up at a diffrent station with 92octane and put in 104 octane booster; i drove around and now i am down to 1/4 tank left and still does it. I replaced the fuel filter, i checked the fuel pump by giving it a direct ground and using a pressure guage that taps into the fuel rail, got 100 psi. I also checked the maf sensor. looks ok but im not sure how to test it on this car. I would imagine if it was from fuel that it would act up all the time under wot but only does it when i hit at least 90. This really sucks.. i hate problems like this..

this is a stupid question but do you have a turbo or supercharger on. If not check the coils and make sure there tight and if memery serves me correct if mosture gets into the coil wires this problem might come up so check the wires to each spark plug. and if not might be an injector also. so again good luck and i hope you find the problem.

If you've been using octane booster, your plugs are shot. Pull them and check. Any octane booster in these cars are a no no...been shown plenty of times.

I had the same thing happen to me with my 2006 v-6 auto. Around 90 it started missing out, but ran fine otherwise. My husband said it might have some type of speed control governor on it. My '07 is a GT with a 5 speed and doesn't do that. Im curious about that too...

l govern
The V6 governors out at ~120mph. The GT governors at ~145mph. You'll know when you hit it, it's a total loss of power for a second, not sputtering. Did you guys ever figure out what was up with the V6? Where you using some type of octane booster?

drove around and made my car sputter many times now, put another tank of gas in. check engine light just came on, scanned it with the predator: pulling up primary/secondary circuit on ignition coil c, e, and h. (codes p0353, 0355, 0358). pulls hard still up to 6000rpm and 90 then sputters bad. im new on here so im not sure how to set what i have done to my car but if it helps here it is: 2005 gt, stock air intake, diablo predator tuner(recently returned to stock programming; still have problems), automatic with tci 3000stall converter, off road x pipe, flowmaster axle back, 3.73 frp. gears, zex nitrous(using 75 shot which has not been used for 2 months now), 02 simulators(for no check engine ) any ideas with this new info?
