Traction Control
anybody know of a way to make the traction control default "off"...i'd rather turn it on when i want it...i know i know it's a safety thing...just thought there might be a way to reprogram the thing.

RE: Traction Control
I guess you could rig up a relay circuit that turned it off when you started the car. the only other option is to use a tuner and turn it off in the tune so that it is always off.
I'm having my tune loaded into my tuner with one tune having it off and another copy of the tune with it set to default. I'll keep the TC on tune for street driving and the TC off tune for the track.

RE: Traction Control
That's what I did. I was told i'd get an error message every time I started the car, but I never did. the off light is always lit and the car incon with the wavy lines behind it on the instrument cluster is always lit. Much better for the track than having to always push the off button, especially if you are constantly starting your car to move up. I'm all for pushing my car, but not all staging lanes are level!
I know there is a plug in switch that changes the default in some car, i'm not sure if they sell one for the new mustangs or not.
