Default heater problem

I just traded my 05 GT for a 07 Shelby and the heater puts air through the defroster just like the 05 when the switch is on the footwell position.
What's up? Why haven't they figured this out yet?

Why yes, I did search. Didn't find anything useful.

First chilly night, turned on heater. In the footwell, pretty much NOTHING blowing, all out defroster. Other positions appear OK, just nothing in the footwell but a tiny breeze.

Happen to anyone else? What's the fix?

That's the way it is designed! it will flow very slightly on def when you put it on floor so the windshield will not fog up.

It's all going to the defrost. Nothing to the footwell but an extremely light flow.

Sorry thought it was blowing on floor and then slight on defrost.Does it work right in other settings? I know there is servo motor that moves the door to the wright position.

Nope. Nothing to the floor on any settings. Sounds like an alignment issue then, eh? This magic servo 8 hours of dash tearing apart to get to?

I know when there is a problem they default to defrost. I know on my other mustang had this problem, and it was a broken vac line, don't think the newer mustang still use vacuum
