Going racing tomorrow!
Well, I am taking my GT down to kershaw, SC at Carolina Motorsports Park (Road Track) Friday and Saturday. I wonder how she'll do on the things where you have to actually turn big circle thing that you hold onto?
Oh, I am also the youngest guy driving there by atleast 5 years

good luck!
I had my first race race track appearance about two months ago (about 60th best time out of 120 supersport cars)
is it just circle or any more technical?
if so, you will need new pads after
AND WE WANT PICTURES AND VIDEO!!!

It's a 14 turn track, and I might be able to get some videos saturday or sunday.

RE: Going racing tomorrow!
Ive checked the track at the web and it looks nice!
just remember if you have stock brakes, to only do max 2 rounds then let them chill down for another round or go to a pit because fade is significant issue!!
Same applies if you have AT - it is dying fast under those rough conditions.
After you get more confident, dont be afraid to pull your Pony hard out of corners, bit of controlled powerslide makes it fun and you wont loose much time either.

RE: Going racing tomorrow!
You are going to have a lot of fun. I did my first track day back in July, next one coming up early December at Road Atlanta. Stock brakes were definitely burning but they did hold up through the day - 4 sessions of about 30 minutes each, 10-15 laps each session. I have race pads and SS lines on order for use this next trip out.
Here's some photos from the track day in July

Have fun and be safe!
