Love the Kooks, hate the drone with the Flowmasters. Also, didn't get any louder, which I was hoping it would. Gotta change them out. Anyone running Kooks catted with aftermarket exhaust? Thoughts?

I have the Kooks Catted and Magnaflow Magnapaks. Its LOUD and sounds AWESOME. It pretty much sounds like a race car.

I have the Kooks LT's and catted X-pipe with stock mufflers. It is not much louder at normal throttle, but it is much louder at WOT.

Yeah, I think I'm going to put the stock mufflers back on just for s*it and grins. Not expecting much loudness, but maybe the drone will die down. Definitely not staying with the Flows.

Hey 2006GTSC, can you post a sound clip? I need to make sure I get the right setup the first time.

Here's a write up I put in my gallery. Not mine, but credit is given to the guy that did it. Between this one and Dynatech's instructions (do a search, CrayzAl posted a link), it covers all the bases. Each .doc below is about 15mb, so be patient if you're on dial up.

Was this with the Flowmaster American Thunder series for our car, or like a 40 series flowmaster? I want to go LT/Hiflowcats/40 series. I don't think I want kooks because it's 1 5/8.
