Have one on mine. Don't like the look but it is easy to take off and no drill. I got it off ebay. The guy shipped it crazy fast and was very easy to deal with. Also sent directions not that you will need them. I put some rubber feet between my plate and bumper also so the wind doesn't blow it against the car. He only sells one at a time and they are pricey but it was worth the money.

I also do not run a front plate although it is required by law. No way i am drilling into the pretty face. I did buy a removable plate holder off a guy selling them on ebay. It is a drill-less plate holder. If i get a ticket i will simply put it on go get ticket signed off then remove again.
I do however run a front plate on my other cars and truck but not the Stang.

It's required in Ohio, but, so far, so good. The plate is upfront (on the floor) NO........ I refuse to drill that bumper, and FORD doesn't provide the bracket. If, and when it becomes an issue, I'll tell the cop it's on BO from FORD. Yeah, he's probably heard that before.

Its required in Texas but I refuse to put one on because I dont like them and they put holes in my bumper!! I have not had a front plate since I bought my new 2004 GT; now have a 2007. Ive been stopped many times and have never got a ticket nor even had anything said to me about it. The few times I was stopped specifically for the front plate, I was given a warning. The day I get a fine, I guess is the day I put one on!

Required here in NY...Wont do it...No problems yet....
E-bay has a bracket of some sought so you dont have to drill holes in your bumper...
Also i wouldnt put it on your Dash, then it just draws there eye to it...

I didn't realize this, but to install front plates, I guess we're supposed to drill holes, which doesn't really sit well with me. It just looks so much better this way
So I'm considering just leaving my front plates on the dashboard. Never tried this before, anyone with any recomendations? I've been looking over all the posted pictures, it seems about half and half.

In Oregon it is $94 if you get stopped without one. I know, I was ticketed in my 350Z. I now have a plate on the Mustang. Get over it guys, it's just not worth the money or the constanct worry.

I think it depends on the cops attitude around your city of residents because some places the cops just don't care about one or two laws
or are more concerned with others
around here some cops are more eager to catch that 130 in a 30 than bother with a silly license plate issue
and yes I've seen someone doing 140 in a 45

I had two job offers last month...one in East Texas, the other in Southern Indiana (i live/grown up in northern indiana). both were awesome jobs, but be honest...i hated the fact that in texas i'd have to put the front plate on...wasn't the deciding factor, but it was def. up there, lol.

Maryland they are required ... the dealer drilled mine in the only thing that sucks is my plate is old and i have a white car so i can get it clean enough and it doesnt blend well with my car ... if you didnt know the plates here are white the other choices are orange for argricultural and blue for senior citzens so i dont apply.
