Get the Hellwigs from Nancy at Hellwig....great price and great sway bars, adjusable, beefier brackets, etc.

does aftermarket rear stabilizer really makes difference on Mustang?

The rear bar makes a huge difference. I'd dare say it ranks is right up there with a good spring/shock swap even on a totally stock car.

I went with the Spohn/Hellwig in the rear first. You can feel it working its magic in the first curve you take. The rear does a much better job tracking where you are steering the car and feels much more planted. You can feel the heavier rear swaybar planting the rear end when weight shifts during mild and heavy cornering. Easy >1 hr install.

A front aftermarket swaybar is optional for spirited street performance imho. I did not feel too much of a difference when I replaced mine.

yeah thx for info but you have had aftermarket springs before you replaced sway bar?

that would explain such noticable difference you mention as SB should be reducing body roll caused by lowered springs...

so im wondering if it would really help to stock suspension??

I have the sways with just the Roush rears, mainly for the leveling the car out. My car does not ride rough, and I can throw it into the curves. The bars at the full setting, where I have them, are actually a little much for the small 235 tires. The car stays flat and has great turn in. I will take more front bar out when I upgrade my wheels and tires to keep the car neutral to slight oversteer. I can throttle steer the car know effortlessly and smoothly with these bars. The car just doesn't snap IMMEDIATELY out of control, but can be drifted at will. I have had many different cars with different setups. For the money, I like this setup. I recently moved to the Chicago area and the roads are crap. The almost stock setup keeps my teeth in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, as soon as I can afford the TEIN coilovers, gigiddy gigiddy.....

Maybe these cars are totally different, but in my experiences lowering springs tend to reduce body roll rather than cause it.

That is the ressult i felt when i installed the Eibach Pro Kit springs. Of course i also installed the Tokicos at the same time so between the two that really helped. A rear sway bar is one of my next mods.
