Default KOOKS MUFFLERS???

http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/category.php?cname=Mufflers&sname=Quad%20Core%20Mu ffler&pname=Quad%20Core%20Race%20Muffler%20(round)-%20304%20Stainless

You think the mufflers Kooks sells can be put on daily drivers or are they setup for race cars (meaning loud and obnoxious as hell)? As far as I know, no one in this forum has a Kooks muffler installed.

There shop is a half hour from me so I'm going to have them install my headers, catted X and was wondering if I should just use their mufflers too.........???

That stinks. I guess I'm hoping someone with some type of exhaust experience could chime in. I'm wondering if they (Kooks) just buy their mufflers from a vendor and then put their name on them (like supermarkets with most of their products, soda, cheeses etc...lol). Or they could be custom made and have a distinct sound. Dunno...maybe someone can check the site and look at the mufflers and make a determination. Thanks.

to me they kinda look like an SLP loudmouth......which are very very loud.......albeit SLP loudmouths are a little more narrow....kind just look like a glass pack without much sound control....probably would be very loud...I am running borla stingers (FRRP) and will find out tomorrow how loud they will be with the kooks LT installed....

yeah..like I said...they LOOK like an SLP Loudmouth exhaust then even went on to state or a basic glass pack more or less since we all know SLP's albeit some areas sell them as MUFFLERS in their description are straight pipes without chambers.....

Relax, there, slick. In the previous post you said, "to me they kinda look like an SLP loudmouth." There's no need to be overly touchy about a single comment.
