Default Slipping Clutch?

Well I haven't driven my car for like the last week because I have been grounded... But I was picking up some Jack in the Box's, and every time I was in gear I would hear like a Shhhhhhhhh sound every time I would give it a little gas and I don't accelerate as fast as I used too.

Would this qualify as a slipping clutch or what?

Put the car in 4th gear while stopped. Slowly let out on the clutch with your right foot firmly on the brake. The RPMs should slowly go down till the car dies. It the engine bucks at all, it may be your clutch. This is also the method described on the factory DVD.

I thought you are supposed to give it some gas when doing this?

You are correct. The manual says 2000 RPM. Here is a clipped screenshot...
