Yes, I bought the 530-153-0033 model. Unfortunately, Jegs has a misprint. The adaptor is 12x1.5, not the 12x1.25 that is on the stock shifter. Check the Hurst website, or you can take my word for it...since I had to deal with it already

Stock **** on a Steed Tri Ax. Why change it? Save the 50 bucks for much more useful mods.

^^^What he said ( except insert Pro 5.0 where he says Steeda )^^^

Big Dave,
I have a stock shifter with the Saleen short throw adapter on it. How'd you like the look and feel of Mr. T? I always liked the pull of a T-Handle into 2nd, 4th and Reverse over the slippery feel of that stock ****. You said "initially" in your post, does that mean you didn't like it?

I ended up getting a hurst shifter. I beat the lock-tited insert out of the T-handle (quite an ugly task that weakened the threads a lot) and rethreaded another one for the 3/16" SAE threads on the hurst shaft. I really love the T-handle, but I totally ripped the whole handle off in my hand grabbing an awesome 2nd gear shift. So now I have the Hurst white ball till after the Christmas $$ drain. Who knows, maybe one will show up in my stocking

PS: One down side. Grabbing that hunk of metal in the summertime after the car has been out in the sun is quite an experience. Almost to the extent of burning an opposite Hurst logo onto your hand...but we are men and can take it, right!
