Matte Black / Flat Black Wheels

Matte Black / Flat Black Wheels
Anyone make five spoke matte black or flat black powdercoated wheels? I saw a (very expensive) set at the LA auto show that were on a Porsche, and I thought a set of matte / flat black five spoke wheels would look great on my black 'Stang.
Has anyone done this, or does anyone have and idea who might make a set with the correct offset, etc.?

I'm interested in this too, especially what the matte black would look like.
To answer your question, Fiske makes a really nice black wheel called the 5S and they are a racing wheel, but they are $1000-$1200 each
I think you can see them at fiske's or grigg's website.

RE: Matte Black / Flat Black Wheels
I have black wheels on my car. In fact, the Fikses were what inspired me to do it!
I bought a pair of the FR500 replicas from Mustang Tuning (I think they're called American Muscle now), and had them powder coated black at a local shop. I think they charged me $75 per wheel for bead blasting and powdercoating. I went with a "satin" or semi-gloss finish, becasue true flat is very hard to keep clean. The powdercoating has been holding up great. Just get the hose and the dirt comes right off.
Other options would be to have wheels beadblasted and then anodized (what Fikse does), but that would be very expensive. You could also take them to a custom paint shop and have them painted. I routinely have motorcycle wheels custom painted, and I discussed my car wheels with the same painter I use. He told me they have an additive that they mix with the clear coat that lets them adjust the level of gloss. It can be anywhere from a full flat to a full gloss. However, I ended up doing the powdercoating at his recommendation because it is more durable than paint and it's less expensive. As long as you want a common solid color, like black, the powdercoating is great.
