Default Hurst installed!

Phenomenal! I love the notchiness! Install went pretty smooth. It did take me a few to get the new shifter thru the hole and down into the tunnel.

Question: Does the lower (rubber) boot fit under the 2 allen screws, or does it fit up higher to cover those 2 screws as well?

Thanks!

Don't think the height of the rubber boot matters. Lower the better inho.

Just make sure you used blue loctite on those 2 handle screws. They WILL come apart without thread locker.

Mine is fit over the bottom and barely the top one. But doesn't matter. You don't see it anyways with the other boot.

Mine still haven't come apart and I didn't use anything. I am freakishly strong though!

The shift boot covers the screws, you should have a round adapter to put on the hole in the stock boot. It has a rectangular hole in it to match the hurst stick. I pushed mine down just below the hurst name on the chrome stick.

You can see it in this picture.

I didn't think it mattered...but to have that dust boot covering the screws I think it would cause a tear eventually. Probably best that I keep the boot below the 2 screws.

Thanks fellas!
