American Exotics -- Performance Numbers

We just tested the cars, but unfortunately I can't remember all the numbers we got. But I do remember 1/4-mile times (always my real benchmark for performance...must come from my drag racing days of youth...). Anyway, they stack up like this (these numbers are uncorrected, so figure about 3/10ths off each to account for the altitude of our facility):




Ford GT: 1/4-mile 11.91 seconds

Chevrolet Corvette Z06: 1/4-mile 12.10 seconds

Dodge Viper Coupe: 1/4-mile 12.80 seconds

Yup, these cars are all very FAST!! With the corrected number for the GT coming in around 11.6 seconds...well, there are only about three street legal production cars ever made that are clearly quicker, and they all cost A LOT more and are A LOT harder to acquire (American Exotics -- Performance Numbers




America builds the fastest cars in the world for the money..................I'm tired of all the Bashing that goes on from other non-American car owners about American made cars. The numbers speak for themselves. And the numbers are stacked in are favor.

I would also love to have Eva Longoria in my bed, but I don't think either are happening!

 

While those are great cars and great numbers, the GT, Viper, and Z06 are in no way indicative of the american auto industry in performance or quality

 

so very true.

but really, i'd take any 3 of those cars.

Ford GT = sexy as hell and fast
Z06 = fast and i dig the hi-tech (by that i mean Ti connecting rods, and the fact teh chassis is aluminum where the C6 base is steel)
Viper = well, just in your face v10 force.

the big 3 american exotics are really awesome. but i like to think that the 05+ mustangs are cool, fast and well, about 1/3 the price! haha
