You need to do your research.

First off, RPM outlet sucks bigtime. There are plenty of horror stories on this forum about how they rip people off. It happened to me. Don't let it happen to you.

Second, The stage 2 cams are very mild. VERY mild. Even the Stage 3s are mild. I would definatley get either the 3s or 4s if you want cams.

Third, do not expect to get anywhere close to 40 HP unless you have all the supporting mods the cams need: Longtube headers, CMCP delete, a very big intake, and so on. There is a guy on another forum (m odularfords) who just got the Stage 3s without these mods, and he barely got 20 HP. Needless to say he was mad!

Check out this thread: https://mustangforums.com/m_2412985/tm.htm

And go to www.brenspeed.com and click their "tech" link to read about a cam install on these cars.

Keep in mind that installing cams is a 15 hour job!!! That is going to be VERY expensive to have done.

The 3 Valve are a PIA installing the springs. Even with the special ford tool. You need new springs with the higher stage cams.

I don't know about that K&N CAI that you have but I would go with a C&L racer or JLT.

The Charge Motion Delete plates are the best bang for the buck mod available to these cars.
The stock unit has plates that are open and close. Even when open they are a restriction.
You will not notice any loss in low end and on the top end you will get a nice gain.

My thoughts:

If you're going togo through the expense of doingcamsthe cams, go ahead and do the stage 3's if not the 4s.

Definatley do the CMCP delete like vsop suggested.

Forget the K&N Intake. With the cams you will need either the C&L Racer or the JLT. Something BIG.

I would drop the electric water pump. If you are going with pulleys the gain from the pump will be very small--not worth the cost and the hassle. Plus the combination of pulleys and the pump is very hard on your alternator.

Default RE: cams ?

Are there any cams available that will work with stock springs? Can someone tell me what the Charge Motion Delete Plates are???

My wife drives our 06 GT on a daily basis, and I have my Mustang II for playing with some serious power (don't laugh it will run circles around the 06)

So, I would like to do a few small things to add that little edge but I dont wanna go to crazy. Already installed a cold air intake and axle back flomasters. From where I am now what would be the best bang per buck and still keep warranty vaild?
