Default very not good

It barely rained early this morning but it did just enough to make everything wet and very slick. My girlfriend was supposed to pick me up for about 1:00 to go out to lunch and then shopping for our parents and when 1:30 rolled around and she wasn't answering her cell I got nervous. I know the way she comes to my house so I back track from myhouse to hers and the first corner I come to I spin out and my front end goes up and over a curb, HARD. As soon as I felt the back end spinning out I step on the clutch, hit the brakes, and try to turn the wheel the other way to stop the swerve, but it was too late. I'm very surprised that the airbags didn't deploy. So I turn off the car and get out to look to make sure my I didn't pop my tires or bend my rims. Luckily I didn't but I had to back off the curb and the little plastic/rubber thing ont he bottom of the front kinda poopped off. I was able to pop part of it back on but a little of it got ripped off so i had to duck tape it up so it wouldn't drag on the road. You can't see the duck tape so it doesn't look bad. I was really shaken up after the whole thing. First "accident" ever and it was in my baby I really hate the stock Pirellis, they can't hold onto the road for anything, even when it's not wet! Anyone else have bad experiences with their Pirellis? I'm nervous now because there isn't snow on the ground yet and my Stang is a daily driver for me to get to and from school.

dont worry about it. its a freak accident. now you know your limits, just back off around the turns.

my brothers 04 we spun all the way around and were facing backwards (didnt hit anything but very scary)

my friend has an 05 and an 87 year old who was driving home from cataracts ran the light and hit his side.

theres no avoiding this stuff. just shake it off.

I definately want to get wider tires but I didn't tell my parents because they wouldn't trust me to go driving anymore so I can't just go to them and I say I want wider tires. I know they wouldn't buy that.
