I was SURPRISED when my Ford Dealer bought me a Hurst shifter for xmas
My salesman IS my best friend and he shocked the hell outta me this XMAS
Usually he gets me a pair of B-ball shoes...now, who has a write-up on how to install this. We're gonna try and tackle it this coming friday....
help is greatly appreciated!

It's pretty self explanitory and is fast... it'll atke about an hour to an hour and 20 minutes with the 2 of you doing it. My buddy has a lift so it was that much faster when we did mine. That's a good gift man -- you'll enjoy it.
Im doing mine friday too.....I plan on doing a detailed explanation of the install with pics when Im finished....so it can be lost in the "search function" forever!!
Good Luck!

With a lift, it should only take 30-40 minutes. It took me and my buddy 25min because we read the instructions ahead of time and had the tools ready.
Note: USE LOC-TITE on the shifter stick screws!
Note 2: It has very tight clearance going in, but does fit, just twist it a little bit.

Did my shifter today.....was fairly simple, took me about 1 1/2 hours. I plan on posting pics and steps as to how I did it when I have a little more time. BTW, I absolutely LOVE the "notchiness" in shiftins. I only took her around the block, but plan on taking her out and really get on it some tomorrow! A++ for now though!
More to come.
